Cookie policy
Template, pending legal review. Last updated 19 October 2026.
This policy explains the cookies and similar storage (such as your browser's local storage) that BC Object Registry, run by OnlyBCFans, uses on this site and in the portal.
Your choice
The first time you visit, a notice at the bottom of the page tells you about cookies. You can:
- choose OK to keep the default settings,
- choose Reject optional to turn off everything that isn't necessary,
- choose Customize to decide category by category, or
- minimize the notice, which keeps the default settings.
Optional cookies are on by default until you turn them off. You can change your mind at any time with the Cookie preferences button at the bottom of every page. Your choice is stored in your browser, so it applies to that browser only, and clearing your browser data resets it.
We show the same notice to every visitor, wherever you are.
What we use
Necessary (always on)
The site can't work without these, so they can't be turned off.
| Name | Where | Purpose | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
bcor.session_token and related bcor.* cookies |
Cookie (first party) | Keeps you signed in and protects your session | Until you sign out or the session expires |
bcor.cookie-consent |
Local storage | Remembers your cookie choice | Until you change it or clear your browser data |
theme |
Local storage | Remembers Day or Night mode, only if you switch it yourself | Until you change it or clear your browser data |
Functional (optional)
Optional conveniences, such as remembering how you last filtered a list. We don't use any at the moment; if we add some, we'll list them here and in Cookie preferences first.
Analytics (optional)
We don't use analytics cookies at the moment. If we add any, we'll list them here and in Cookie preferences before they're used, and they'll respect your choice.
What we don't use
We don't use advertising cookies, and we don't use cross-site tracking cookies.
Blocking cookies
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block the session cookie, you can't sign in.
